Jungle Pokemon Cards

This is the first expansion after the base card set that brought new cards and theme decks to the trading card game. The jungle set was released June 16, 1999. The English card set came with 64 cards because of the added holographic cards that it contained. The first edition cards of Jungle sold so fast that they quickly sold and could not be found anywhere. Shortly after the first two weeks after the release. The first edition version of jungle also contained an extremely rare promotional card of pikachu first edition which could be found 1 in every 10 boxes making it one of the most valuable cards in the whole set.

Error Card Information:
Some of the electrode error pokemon cards have the base set image instead of the jungle pokemon image.  The butterfree pokemon card had an error with edition 1 being spelled as edition d instead. Seaking and Rapidash are miss printed with put the card on a first stage pokemon but both cards are a first stage pokemon card and should say put on a basic pokemon card. One of the early prints of jungle also included a bunch of holographic cards which were printed without the jungle symbol.
