Next Destinies Pokemon Cards Expansion



The next destinies expansion is the fourth expansion in the from the English black and white series of the Pokemon trading card game. There are 103 Pokemon cards with the alternate holographic foils, promotional stamps, reverse holographic foils, and Secret cards there are a total of 206 Pokemon cards in the English set and the release date of these Pokemon cards was February 8, 2012. The next destinies expansion is one of the first expansion of the black and white series to include the powerful Pokemon-EX cards. The Pokemon-EX cards have full art and have might higher HP then the normal cards from the black and white expansion. When a Pokemon-EX card dies in a fight the opponent takes two prizes instead of just one.  You can find six Pokemon-EX in the next destinies expansion: Shaymin-EX, Reshiram-EX, Kyurem-EX, Zekrom-EX, Mewtwo-EX, and Regigigas-EX. The art for these cards have two different versions one of them is full art and the other is a limited art style Pokemon card. Some of the Pokemon that were included in this expansion include cards from outside of the Unova region which caused some of the secret cards to be changed. Some of the trainers also have been changed to effect basic Pokemon because of the Pokemon-EX cards being basic legendary Pokemon. Some of the cards that were changed are the Skyarrow Bridge trainer which reduces the amount of colorless energy used to retreat Pokemon. The Prism Energy allows the use of any energy color when attached to a basic Pokemon. The artwork from next destinies focuses on the Castelia City and other surrounding areas of this location. The promotion card for the pre-released of the expansion is a Arcanine card.

Error Cards:
The Pokemon Zoroark has an error that the graphic near the HP says Zoroark is a stage two Pokemon but Zoroark is a stage one Pokemon this was corrected in later prints of the cards.
